Health is the most precious thing in our life and without a healthy body, we cannot enjoy a single moment in our life. Health is just like the heart of your body.

Health

Health is defined as complete emotional and mental well-being. While in most countries healthcare exists which help people to maintain good health in their life.

In 1948, the World Health Organization( WHO) defined health with a phrase and it is still using by modern authorities.

“Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

In 1986, the WHO made further clarifications:

“A resource for everyday life, not the objective of living. Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities.”

Types Of Health

There are mainly two types of health which most of the people try to maintain good these are physical health and mental health.

  1. Physical Health

Physical health can be defined as the normal functioning of body parts at all levels.

Those people who have good physical health, their body parts will be functioning at their peak level.

To maintain good physical health the individual needs to do regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and adequate rest all contribute to good health. Most people also receive medical treatment to maintain their physical balanced when necessary.

When we maintain our physical health well then our body organ will also perform their function well and it also lowers the risk of healthy diseases.

  • Heart disease
  • Cancer
  • Lung disease

Mental health

Mental health refers to the individual emotional, social, and psychological well-being. Mental health is as important just like physical health to live an active life. Though it is difficult to define mental health exactly because many psychological diagnoses depend on an individual’s perception of their experience.

With developments and improve diagnoses, know the doctor can test mental health through CT scans and genetic tests.

Good mental health does not only depend upon depression, anxiety, or another disorder. But it also depends on a person’s ability to:

  • Enjoy life
  • Feel safe and secure
  • Achieve their full potential
  • Bounce back after difficult experiences and adapt to adversity

Physical and mental health has a strong connection with each other. For instance, if the person got injured while submitting any final tasks and he cannot able to submit those tasks, then it may lead to depression and stress.

While mental diseases like depression or anorexia can affect body weight and overall function.

It is important to maintain all types of health properly because they are all link with each other.

How to live a healthy lifestyle?

According to a recent study, very few adults meet the criteria for a healthy lifestyle. On a gender basis, women are on the high percentage who meet the criteria of lifestyle fully as compared to men.

These tips are based on my personal experienced.

  • Get a good night’s rest: those people who maintain their physical rest properly can remain active for a whole day. While researched shows that those people who sleep less than hunger hormones get out of balance, it possibly triggers overeating.
  • Brush and floss daily: to keep our mouth clean do brush and floss on daily basis.
  • Smile and laugh out loud several times a day: This habit can help you to manipulate the daily problems perfectly.
  • Spend a few times alone: from your busy day, spend a few times alone with yourself for self-creation and self-improvement. They can only do this through meditation or by pray.
  • Nutrition: always keep up to date with your nutrition or diet and don’t try to overuse balance of protein etc because it harms your health
  • Positive attitude: try to think positive about each circumstance because it can purify your body and health with good thoughts
